Having missed SMA and our friends, we've returned for a ten day visit. We checked into our rental house late last night, and awoke to a beautiful view of our old friend the Parroquia - the central church in SMA.
We are staying at Casa Magnifica, and it truly lives up to it's name. Although it's a little noisy, the interior and grounds are quite stunning. This morning the kids were awakened by a marching band practicing at a school down the street. It's the same cacophony of drums and flutes that I remember from three years ago. I find it quite humorous, and it didn't really stir the kids, so they are probably OK with it for now.
Despite the noise, we feel like we're living large for sure.
And now... to start our first day!
